@@ShadowsingerAzi oh lol I hadn't read this. It's okay, next time you'll be able to keep them for longer. Consider ACV for itchy scalp. Dilute some into water and use directly on the scalp, leave for some minutes to allow the buildup to lift then rinse. You can follow that up with African black soap to clarify your scalp. Really helps me with itching. I wash my hair once every 2 weeks and I'm able to reach the next wash day without too much hardship. All the best with yout hair care journey sis! ❤️

Ladies you CAN wash and condition your hair IN CORNROWS...that is the one plus that wigs have over weaves...I can't go a week without a wash n condition. If you're worried about stripping your hair,do cowashes or buy sulphate free moisturizing shampoos.(SHEA MOISTURE) C'mon now...sweat,dirt,dead skin cells and the mix it creates with hair products actually hinders growth... 4c,thick shoulder length natural hair. BUT THATS NONE OF MY BUSSINESS👀
@KayTheNatural
@KayTheNatural 4 жыл бұрын
I wash my hair and deep-condition WEEKLY while wearing cornrows 🙂 (Which I have a video uploaded that shows my routine) BUT to each his own.. If some people are washing their hair once a month and they are happy with that and their hair is flourishing as a result.. Then that IS THEIR BUSINESS. Some people's hair thrives with build-up and if they like it I love it. Everybody's hair is different. At the end of the day, Do what works for YOU. Sincerely, Madame Hair Past Bra-Length 🙃

I had soo much shedding when I took out my braids after having a sew in for 2 months 😩 you’re so lucky you didn’t have a lot of shedding
@KayTheNatural
@KayTheNatural 4 жыл бұрын
I used to get a lot of shedding and breakage when I used to wear sew-ins. Probably cause it was too much tension and stress on my hair, and I couldn't really get to my scalp and properly take care of my hair underneath. I hope you find a protective style that works
@nd7289
@nd7289 3 жыл бұрын
Shedding is normal but breakage is not. We are supposed to lose around 100 hairs every day so imagine how much hair is supposed to come out after 2 months. When you protective style, it doesn't allow those hairs to shed out because they're braided up so all the shedding you've seen everything that's supposed to have fallen out
