Too bad it has been modernized by a generic with cheap DMG fixtures. Would've loved to see when it was original though. Hammond & Champness was a British elevator company who had a partnership with Dover as its distributor in the UK and just like Dover, it ended up getting bought by Thyssen in the late 1990s.

I don’t think there even is a door close button (Even on lifts that have fire service (which this one probably doesn’t have), door close buttons aren’t always present) To clarify, I’m talking about lifts in the UK And the button to the right of the door open is the alarm
