My favorite character by far. Natalie had a shit upbringing but was a diamond in the rough with a heart of gold. From not taking part in Taissa’s plan to freeze Allie out for nationals to her sacrificing herself in the end. She may have had a self destructive streak but she genuinely cared about others. She redeemed herself in the end. She stole every scene and I’m heartbroken

Notice before the plane crash, Nat is the only girl who knew what trauma was. The other girls lived an ideal sheltered life and never understood. So another factor to consider is we’re watching these children work through their trauma. But Nat is the most empathetic character of the show. I genuinely think it has to do with her father’s accident.

I feel like Nat’s death was poetic in many ways. First Lottie says the wilderness always liked her most yet she dies anyway. She dies to a “drug overdose” that almost killed her several times in her life. She dies sacrificing herself to protect a girl that she sees as her younger self and it’s almost like she’s finally getting her due for so many people dying in her place. This is the end of her story…

What's worse is that it makes the Wildness storyline completely pointless. Like all the shit and guilt Natalie carried with her... it's all for nothing because she ends up dying. Jackie and Natalie were the only two of the girls with self-awareness that didn't get swept up by the "Wilderness" so easily. I honestly have zero interest in the adult timeline anymore with Nat gone. The only time Lottie and Misty seem to have any human in them is through their connection with Nat so I have no idea what they're even going to do with them without her there... It feels like they tried to parallel Lisa and Javi but that's so surface level. Did Natalie even save her life? Lisa is probably going to be even more traumatized and suicidal than before after all of this.

To me Lottie seems like the ID, Laura Lee was like the Super Ego, and Jackie was like the Ego. Different characters also have differing relationships depending on where they fall. I noticed that Westworld kinda did something similar with Dolores / Wyatt being her shadow, then even in Gen V the same can be said of Marie / Cate etc

That it was destined for it to happen because she escaped death once in the woods and the way her character was she was going to go at some point anyways. Plus other things but that’s the jist and also that misty was going to be the one to end her due to some foreshadowing that I didn’t notice in the pilot of the show. Again that’s Hollywood for you.

Absolutely hated the actress, dead acting, the cringe slow motion death and reactions, seemed like a low quality tv show. The second season was a chore to finish even though it started out well. The audacity to use a radiohead song to mask such a horrible end makes it even worse. The problem with this show is the adult actors and settings. If this show was just the teenage girls and their struggles it wouldve been better.
