I love your videos, especially your technique for pebbles. I just finished quilting a piano key border using this same ruler and it turned out beautifully, the customer loved it. Thanks!

Love my new mini rulers recently purchased from PieceNQuilt-I had hesitated ordering them because I have other rulers similar to them but the markings on the ruler and the way they fit my hand is ideal-so helpful. Thanks for all you do!

You are probably the best quilter I’ve ever seen. That quilt looks amazing. I love the different colors and sizes. Can you post the final product?

If I am doing this design on a domestic machine, should I I work each part of the design all around the quilt then move to the next step in the design? I feel like I would rather do a whole workable area before shifting the quilt to another section. 🤔 My quilt is a queen size but I do have an 11.5 inch throat space.

I don't believe in rules! If it feels right to you, go for it!😀😀

If you were doing this on a domestic machine would you start with the boarder? When using a domestic machine do you baste the quilt edge down first or anchor it within the quilt first?

I would start in the center and work out from there! 🧡

Great video; love watching your process. Only thing I didn't understand is how did you decide how large each scallop was going to be. I know you made marks but there must be a trick to getting full scallops and not have your last scallop end up being smaller or larger. Please explain.

It's completely based on block size. Check out my online class - Let's Stitch Scalloped Borders for more scallops! www.piecenquilt.com 🧡

Natalia, is the border wider than 4"? The scallop looks like it's about 1.5" at its peak ... just trying to visualize the width of the border! Your videos are so easy to watch - 'tho your smoothness is hard to replicate when I attempt!! thanks!
