basically: talk to yourself lively, expressively if you can't/don't want to talk to others, and I agree so much! to speak better one needs to practice one way or another

Romans 8:38-39 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow-not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below-indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I haven’t commented on a KZbin video in literally ten years to be honest (I checked!), but I just wanted to say that I started watching your videos when I had no plans and no confidence to even try to learn Korean. But, your videos and shared experiences motivated me and I’ve been learning for nearly two years now. I’m still very much a beginner but I’m staying consistent and I’m really enjoying my journey. I think your personality, honesty, and editing style make your content so unique. I keep coming back!! Thank you so much!!! 🌻✨

I also have one piece of advice that relates to your last point - when you talk to someone in your head, say it out loud afterwards. Or maybe it's just me, but I can say a lot more words in my head than out loud afterwards. I don't know why. It's like there's some magical barrier between my brain and my tongue :D While I can say it nice and clear in my head, when I try to say it out loud it's like my tongue gets stuck. And reading aloud is also very helpful. Even if you don't know what you're reading, still helpful. So speak loud :D

I do the made up conversations in my head with BTS as well ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Thanks for this video, my speaking definitely needs more practice! I find when I'm in Korea I'm always too nervous to actually try to speak Korean, but this time I'm gonna make more effort to just go for it!

6:20 i do this with beginner content sometimes too🤣 the joys of being self taught and learning through exposure is not being exposed to stuff typically taught to a beginner 😅 definite gaps in knowledge😶 i like that you shared this so people know its okay. it also shows that in all your time in korea, you still hadnt come across that info in your daily life being surrounded by the language🤣

I have made lists of my favorite actors and musicians and it has helped me with beginning reading skills. Made them into flash cards. Because I really like them I was more motivated to learn how to spell their names and pronounce them than merely vocabulary.

Dear Natalia, I've been following you a while since I started learning Korean. I am still a beginner/intermidiate. English isn't my first language (you must have noticed XD) But I'm having a hard time finding friends and practicing my Korean language that way. I can't wait to be able to understand Korean and work with the language and country. Thank you for everything and wish we could be friends.

I have been trying to practice on my own but haven't succeeded. I thought about starting to record my own voice, and I think I will implement your tips with that idea. Korean is my third language, and sometimes organizing my thoughts is extremely difficult, so I guess I will try out

I’m an American who loves foreign languages. I can only read the Korean language in moderation. My only favorite K-pop musical artist is PSY. I learnt Mandarin Chinese during my high school career and that was the only good thing about high school. I haven’t been practicing any Mandarin Chinese and Korean lately. I remember speaking Korean in my Mandarin Chinese class because some of Korean is derived from Chinese. When I was a kid I taught myself Russian on my very own.

@AlphaMoreno1Ай бұрын
Hi! I know I’m not Natalia, but something that helped me was the long Billy Go Hangul video on KZbin and took notes for each letter and how the written structures work all from the video. I’m not big on Duolingo, but after the video, it really helped with repetition and solidifying my understanding of each character. Hope this can help you or anyone else! 😊
