Natalie Elphicke, the former Conservative MP for Dover, unexpectedly announced she was leaving the Tories to join Labour last Wednesday.
She's been accused of lobbying the justice secretary back in 2020, to interfere, allegedly in her then-husband's criminal sex offences trial.
