But it does eventually, try driving on the motorways in some parts of the country - chock full of traffic. Maybe these presenters get about by helicopter or train. We would all love to travel by train for some journeys but train fares are so expensive. As a student I regulalrly got the train from LOndon to the West country to see family and it was affordable, even for a student. It isn't now. These people have no idea. I was married to a Muslim man who was born in this country, him, his family & friends didn’t consider the UK their home, their ‘home’ was Pakistan, even though their lives were here. English was a language rarely spoken or understood by women in the home. After 10 years of marriage I still wasn’t accepted by the Asian community because I was white. It is very obvious when u live in these areas the divide and when u look at the uk census 2021 you get figures like 60-95% south Asian in certain areas which shows a lack of integration where as for Afro population it’s 15 - 40% which shows a more integrated society. Nigel has serious point. My parents live in the north and in the last four years every house sold has been bought by a Muslim. My parents have said this is becoming a Muslim area now. You go to Asda supermarket and the customers are predominantly Muslim as are the staff. This is a real experience for my parents who are worried they will end up living their last days not recognising their own area in which they have lived 90 & 83 yrs respectively

I am a Muslim woman (British born) and I agree with Mr Farage. I do not think he is a racist. So many who have lived in this country for over 40 years still can’t speak English, it’s Appauling. Many will not mix outside their own communities. Try living in the community and you will see how common it is. Whatever country you live in you put that country first, that is your home. You make the effort to learn the language and you integrate within the community. It’s racist when you don’t integrate or mix with others outside your own community. This country has helped me escape an abusive marriage, the British system has fought my corner. As a woman I have rights. I am an equal to men. Muslim countries would never give me the same freedoms I have here. I love the U.K. and I put Britain and its values first. It’s my home. ❤️

The women who have lived here 40 years plus rely on their kids to speak for them, take them fo the doctors, hospitals etc but many do understand and still either won’t speak because of lack of confidence and their husbands have suppressed them for many years and they have not been encouraged or supported to improve themselves or some just not interested - it’s usually either reason.
