Why is everyone saying the guy is treating her bad? Financially speaking it would make sense to do something that makes him more successful, and she is on his mind, as he mentions her in his interview at the end. So he obviously treats her well, especially if she is singing this song about him. The point of this song is that when you're not with that person, it feels like life is just passing you by because you love and miss that person so much so without them life seems incomplete.
