Thanks, Rick, for introducing these people. I thoroughly enjoy their expression that is triggered by your input. They are typically so unassuming. Natalie is so straight forward, I love it.

Thank you Rick..your questions are awesome. What I like about Natalie is that she seems so ordinary, down to earth with "flaws" just like everyone else, yet she's awakened. It is easier now to imagine myself Self realized cause i no longer need to see myself as perfect in order to attain enlightenment..

Thank you both Natalie and Rick for this. It was excellent. Also... I would tend to believe that perhaps those people who felt a need to question the longitude and latitude of Natalie's awakening, may benefit from some additional self enquiry.

Exceptional interview, one of the best. This woman is so down to earth and so without the usual bullshit that comes with all these so-called "awakened" ones.

I listened just past the 32 minute mark and Natalie said she was depressed. Presumably because after her "awakening" nothing changed. That could be a bit disappointing I suppose if you were hoping for the sky to open and bear gifts. But I understand everyone has a unique way of arriving at this point, My experience came over a period of years in many forms of unexplainable phenomena, synchronicities and changes in myself (gifts from the Univers you might say). I gained understanding, became more understanding of others and far more benevolent. This drove me to look for an explanation for what was happening to me. It was only through reading and listening that I discovered that I was waking up. It was nothing I was looking for... it came looking for me. Similar to what Natalie expressed, experiences for me have become somewhat polarized. They can be very intense (both in a positive or a negative way) and sometimes have no affect... but there's no longer a middle ground. She refers to as "no filter", for me It's as if I don't have to intellectualize a situation, I just feel it and the feeling is immediate and true. Life is still much the same in terms of my existence, but I have the ability now to appreciate everything. To learn the lessons being offered through tough situations. To see the good and well meaning in others and offer my own in return. To appreciate the wonder of this planet and the Univers. So, for me nothing has changed, and everything has changed. And I'm grateful it has.

That animation of the inner workings of a cell that Rick was talking about is absolutely amazing. I remember watching it in high school biology a few years ago and asking my teacher how all these cellular mechanisms operate seemingly by themselves and all she could say was that it was just simple chemical activity. I was so disappointed that no one else seemed to notice the unspeakable intelligence operating there that really couldn't be explained by simple chemistry.

+Harrison Taylor-Zimmerman (HarriSnail) I was delighted to read about your noticing this unspeakable intelligence. I has started striking me for some time when I look at an insect or trees and flowers or in the eyes of my dogs and I see it right there.

My favorite interviewer on non duality is Jerry Katz. Why? Because he asks a question and then shuts up, sometimes for a long long time. Still, Rick, you will do in a pinch.

there is no future... Life lives us, in every moment... that is what We wake up to... hypothetical situations no longer play, in the present... always here, always now.... what happens comes and gos...no longer a need 'to think about' or define it... Totally a purpose-less purpose... that is always moving in 'right action'... there is never a wrong movement, for anyone... only the mind says so...

If a tree falls in the forest and there's no one there to hear it does it make a sound? The answer is NO. There has to be an ear drum within ear shot to interpret the vibrational frequency. Sound implies ear mechanics within range. And if no one is there to hear than whatever happened is lost in the waves of probabilities. Wave functions collapse only when an observer is present.

at minute 32:00 Natalie says that right after she had her awakening she sat on her couch for two weeks stunned and depressed as the event was disappointing. You compared that reaction to Eckhart Tolle sitting on park benches for two years after his "death of the ego" moment. Yet He claims that he did so because he was in states of profound deep bliss not depression. Isn't the point of seekers looking to awaken so that they can experience peace and not negative emotion/

@LaLuz108 I agree, nothing wrong with asking questions, but instead of playing with his cat maybe he could be in a private room and jot down keywords the moment he feels an urge to butt in. Sometimes I'll totally be in to what the guest is saying when he interrupts with a personal story or something and the speaker may or may not resume.

I don’t know what all the fuss is about it’s really quite simple. Infinitely crazy unfocused utterly lacking separation boundless emptiness appears in its mystery box of infinite potentiality and expresses life. One of the potentialities within the expression of life is separateness. Enjoy it while you can for it will soon be gone. The boundless power of gone is such that it never came.

She's been awakened but she's not established in the Self. I've been watching a few of these and I'm sorta surprised that the interviewer can't tell the fine difference after having talked to so many people.

EJ Gold tells us that the human biological machine (what he calls the "little s" self that we are identified with) must be awakened before it has any potential to serve the transformation of the Self.

Yes, but the awakening is only the beginning, and there's so many holes to fall into and so many misconceptions and pit falls on the way that one really shouldn't talk on it till they've overcome them.

nmg70nmg I hope it didn't sound as though my comment was disagreeing or challenging. My intention was simply to add to what was being said ... yes, awakening is only the beginning and now the real work can begin ... or maybe not :-) There's no guarantee of follow through. I'm with you and thank you.

There's a fine difference between being awakened and being enlightened. Knowing that difference is extremely helpful when on the path. Many people stop short on the journey and then start teaching people from an incomplete point. This can have really harmful and bad effects. I just realized that I'm reacting to the interviewer and his constant interference. He's got a lot of ego and uses the comments of those who are sharing to show off his own intellect. Most times he's listening for something which relates to some stored data in his brain which makes for a good analogy or cross reference. Then he is all proud of himself when he does.

Rick, you can't "figure it out." Stop trying. People SHOULD ("be dllittantes") or not, it's all just creation, a journey. If you're trying to figure out what we, you, people SHOULD do, you still think there is a way, a right way. There is none. There's just expansion. Experience. You are intellectualizing everything your guests say; and look to be desperately struggling to Get It. Get out of the way and let it be, absorb it, let us absorb it, Let It Be. :) :) :)

Its misleading to a lot of seekers to watch videos like these. Check these comments by Natalie: ""I am still eating meat, still losing my temper here and there, im a very impatient driver in traffic"... If she was enlightened, none of these things would matter. Because, Who would loose its temper? The Self? (lol?) Maybe its the ego in her that still wants to control her reality. Ramana Maharshi, which was truly enlightened would have said, who is the one that still looses its temper, who is impatient in traffic... This denotes that the ego is still alive and well in the interviewed person. Maybe she is experiencing awakening of consciousness, and enjoying a deeper experience of the Self, but to say she is enlightened is very bad and misleading a lot of people. But the ones that have read some and practiced can identify a fraud. Nowadays it seems there will be a lot of people going around saying they are awakened. See Lisa Cairns for another example.

Very good point to which I pretty much agree. This is a situation where the simple Awakening(which for the most part is a sudden phenomenon) creates UNDERSTANDING of the self as illusion, non-doer or whatever you'd call it or that everything is ONE, etc., etc. But if the behavior remains unchanged as she indicates, then that new understanding hasn't yet permeated or marinated through the "person" whose ego is in fact still quite intact. Granted the ego could still be intact in even among the most Awakened but it's diminished to such a significant extent, it hardly ever emerges or when it happens, it seems to extinguish itself in no time flat. This is an argument for a long term commitment to the "I am" Self-Inquiry pracice as prescribed by Nisargadatta or the self questioning as prescribed by Ramana.
