When I hear Natalie sing this, I can actually picture her saying goodbye to her infant son, and all the gutwrenching emotion that comes with that. My daughter was listening to this song and I hear it in the distance. When I heard the runs and fills I was like, "HOLD UP! Who the heck is that?!?" The problem I have with modern day song writing is that people who are legit good song writers DON'T WRITE LIKE THIS!!! Why tf am I crying? I saw six live and was sobbing. She is so powerful, to the point of making me laugh 1 minute and cry the next. This angel has made me cry so many tears, wether they be happy, like when I met her (I was crying and laughing for the whole 4 hour train home- it was 1 in the morning) or sad, the way this song makes me. It hits close to home because someone I love died when I was only five, and all I can remember is that I love them (cancers a bitch) I’m getting proper deep now but my point is, Natalie got me out of a dark place in my life and without her and the salon, i might not have been here today, so thank you Natalie.
