I have been listening to her since 10000 Maniacs and she is my all time favorite artist. I saw her in Edmonton at the Edmonton folk festival when “House Carpenters Daughter” was on the rise! I love her amazing lyrics.....and yes I also have made up ones as I went along. Thanks for this!

There's just so many of us... Every Where. Time has caught up with it ALL. We all know or can't. Doesn't matter, its all recorded in the rippling toward eternity. Nat knew, she made a song that ripples through us all. I say build a levey of milk and honey Find your Mother Land, it's inside you.

Does anyone know what language the last part of the song is? The whispering sounds like multiple languages but I’m not sure. Also if anyone knows what they are saying or what it translates to? Thank you!
