Jen Turner is why I’m watching this. Awesome. Although when playing, she does look like she might be at bit on “The spectrum.” But there is just so much going on, it’s completely understandable. Wish she was still putting things like this out.

@@ironking76 Every newer version I’ve seen of this song doesn’t have those fuzzy guitar parts, which makes them seem subpar. If I was Natalie’s guitarist, I’d try to put the work in to learn the parts. The one exception was when she was backed by an incredible jazz band on Rosie. That’s on KZbin as well.

I'm so heartened to read that so many besides myself are captivated by Jennifer Turner's guitar-just awesome, and I am a veteran of live concerts featuring Jimi, Led Zeppelin, Cream, Beatkles Stones, on and on. I've been obsessed w/ Turner since Carnival came out. What a talent, oh, and Natalie too.

A great song made memorable by the sublime Jen Turner's playing. All the stars aligned, for a while anyway. Natalie is always good, but she has never again captured it like then. Jen Turner was the difference.

NM has a catalog of excellent work - solo and with 10KM. Jen is an wonderful guitar player. We were all blessed to have Jen work with Natalie on the Tiger Lilly album. The world is a better place for these two wonderful musicians.

They hated each other after this album. That's why this was natalie's last good album. Jen was like whatever dude...I'm a medium of rock and you're a pansy. And told natalie she was peacing out and headed to the rock n roll holy land. And was never seen again. Whatever i dont know what exactly transpired i heard that they fell out somewhere though.

It is not possible to describe how compelling Natalie M. was... girls, when you watch Marc Bolan/T-Rex, you will have some concept of how we straight men feel when we see/hear/feel Natalie M/Jen Turner's acoustic art... she/they are devastating... Beautiful, feminine, alluring, strong, elementally desirable. omg as they say now.. I wish I'd seen this live.

I purchased this album when released and was floored by the guitar work, not knowing anything about who may have played. Later that year they appeared on SNL performing "Wonder" and "Carnival" (another guitar laden track). I was floored by what looked like a 20 year old Jennifer Turner on guitar. An amazingly talented musician.

im a 42 year old man with a strong classic rock and roll backround. That being said im not embarrassed to say that ive always loved Tigerlilly. Im on my 2nd or 3rd copy by now. Its one of my 50 greatest albums ever and top tem female performances. When you take into account music, lyrics, and originality in performance, its really a no-brainer. My friend dont get it.....their loss. Also i hope i dont devalue this comment by adding...is it me, or does she look like super hot here?

she's so amazing even after over 10 years she still blows me away...this takes me back! i grew up listening to natalie as a kid. my dad got me into her music. seeing this vid really reminds me of childhood. aw man. nostalgic for me. i was only maybe 8 years old or so when Tiger lily came out. i'm 21 now and i still think Natalie owns!!!

I actually talked to Jen a couple of years back on Facebook about gear and her recording of Tigerlily. She was great and really down to earth. She had a band for a while called Furslide. As I understand, she's doing local gigs in New York City these days.

@@tawkinhedz She seemed pretty down to earth. Not stand-offish at all, and was happy to chat. Just seemed like any normal happy person. I asked about the gear on that album and she couldn't remember much as far as amps and effects. She did tell me she tried a strat but the pickup configurations just got in the way of her pinky, so she went with PRS. She seemed like she was just enjoying doing her local band thing.
