In soaps and real life, women being jealous of other women because of their careers and beauty is really sad. That was Natalie's problem with Van. Was Van supposed to feel bad because she was gorgeous and intelligent? It makes me wonder why anyone would be a fan of the Natalie character. She was written to be unstabled and bitchy. REG played Van with class...with and without John (his weak ass).

And John sat their and listen to all that BS Natalie basically told John he wasn't good enough for Van. And he started to believe that garbage when it wasn't true. But Nat had to keep him on her level so she broke him down to her level. That made him perfect for her. And now years later she want him to change.
