As someone currently dealing with SEVERE depression (I just got out of the hospital on Tuesday) because of infertility and being so far from family... I NEEDED what you shared about the Lord at the end. I read Romans 8 all the time, probably to the point that maybe it's meaning isn't sinking in as well as it should. Thank you for the reminder 🤍

Aww, Natalie…I’m just now viewing this video; my son isn’t doing well because of post Covid issues as he’s recovering, and I’ve gotten behind on my favorite KZbin channels. I don’t comment often but as a sister in Christ, I just want to say that especially the closing of this video touched my heart so much. I love how you cherish your family and how devoted you are to sharing your love of the Lord. I have always found you so encouraging and wise beyond your years. You are the same age as my son (he’s physically and intellectually challenged) and I believe that’s another reason why I enjoy you sharing a glimpse of your life with us. I want you to know what a true blessing you are, and I love your sweet servants heart ❤

I live in South Africa and I absolutely love, love the fall/winter - it's my absolute favourite time of the year. So, every time all my Northern Hemisphere KZbin peeps get ready for fall, I'm always in two minds about Spring and Summer. On the one side, I love the expectation of a new season and the sunshine (winter is our rainy season her in Cape Town), but a huge part of me gets so sad and jealous about the Northern Hemisphere getting ready for fall and winter . . . . but the thought of a New Season always lift my spirits a little!

So many parts of this video makes me think of my dad. I lost my last grandparent 2 years ago and then my dad just shockingly died 3 weeks ago, so I know the feeling of your loss. His passing has been the worst thing in my life, he left too soon, but I have faith that he is happy with God now. Your dogs name is the same name my kids would call my dad, "Opi", even though he was technically Opa (grandpa in German). I love the way you're "being a dork" with your kids, I kept thinking I know that song she's singing! So reminds me of my dad and grandmother who sang so many of the classics and broadway songs in the kitchen. "That's Amore" was one of our favorite songs to sing together, when I was about 12 we were at a family reunion and a bee stung my bottom... so he came up with a new verse for it "when a bee stings your butt, and you feel like a nut, that's amore." my family sang it for days. Seing you make and send the meal and flowers to your friends reminds me of all the support from family and friends who's been supporting my family through this tims. I love being reminded of him in different ways, thank you for this video it rekindled good memories for me.

Most thunderstorms out here that are classified as “severe” would be a typical Tuesday rainstorm back home. I miss the smell, the house shaking thunder, the lightning. Everytime it rains here we open the doors and windows so we can hear it 😂 the neighbors probably think we are nuts

Hi Natalie, It's such a sweet, wonderful video. I love your haul you got on your trip, especially the little house, it's too cute! I hope your DIY works on the chimney! That would be so cool! The beefstew sounds yummy & so does your feta chives muffins. I'll have to try them. I hardly ever see you in your garden. You probably show everything over on your other channel. That's so sweet that your remembrance about your grandparents is where they lived & on the way there. I go by where my parents passed away too & it's kind of hard too! So I think you're looking so adorable in your pretty long dress & hair back in a bun. Especially in your garden, something from the 50's, but all good! That's just what you remind me of. It's sweet & charming like you are! That's great no sponsor! Well thanks for sharing! Take care! Have a lovely week! ♥️☺️🫂🐦🐾🦋🦉🍄🧶🧵🪡✏️📓🌹✨️

Your idea for the diffuser in the house is so cute. I have seen a hack with a teacup that you want to convert to planters and you can submerge the pottery in water and then use a nail to lightly tap a hole into the bottom of it… I wonder if the same principles might apply for the cookie jar to tap a hole in the chimney.
