The entire album Unforgettable was just unbelievable. I can't believe she's gone.

Between her voice and her looks how could you not love her? The world was truely a far better place with her in it. It's a far emptier place without her here. Her and her Dad were so great.❤️💔💫💫

When she reintroduced her father’s music to a new generation of young people this music is timeless and it will always remain classic and never gets old

...The "unforgettable" Concert was possibly the most polished, classiest, Concert ANY African- American put out in the 90's...this was released on VHS(!) in 1992, and NEEDS to be restored and re-released...It's Natalie on a career HIGH, and she never looked better (w/ her best Hairdo, of all-TIME).....

Linda Ronstadt’s three albums WHATS NEW, LUSH LIFE and FOR SENTIMENTAL REASONS took her from rock into the Great American Songbook, and wound up being three highly successful and prized albums. Natalie Cole’s three albums UNFORGETTABLE, TAKE A LOOK and STARDUST lifted her out of pop into the Great American Songbook as well; and she, like her father, established a vocal legacy that will be reminisced about for years; and physically missed with her passing…

The few times I saw Natalie in concert, she often opened with this song. She would start singing this song off stage, but she doesn't make an entrance after she sang a line or two. It was captivating!

The 90s was a time when singers from the 50s, 60s, 70s could see a resurgence in their career. Even Tom Jones had a hit record. You can't do that anymore....sometimes times change for the worst.

This is the first time I’ve seen the video to this wonderful song as performed by Natalie Cole. It moves me to tears each time I listen to it. Proof positive that truly good music and song never, ever go out of style. Rest in exquisite peace, Natalie…along with your father. You are both loved and missed so much. ❤

The first time I heard my favorite Natalie sing up close was at Blue Note Tokyo in 2010. The first song was the very thought of you. I remember listening to that song and being so moved that I couldn`t hold back my tears. It`s truly amazing and even when I listen to now, it brings tears to my eyes.

Her father died of lung cancer in his mid 40's. He was a rockin' bebop pianist, though people knew him for his voice. But Natalie heard him all those years growing up, swingin' at the piano and it shaped her musicality. She heard all those intricate lines flying out from Nat's piano and it gave her a background that other singers simply didn't have. Unfortunately, she also inherited the drug habit so prevalent in the bebop world of the 1940's and '50's. As with so many great jazz musicians, it consumed and killed her...
