My dear sweet 86 year old dad fell the first of this year and broke his pelvis. He had dementia and was on dialysis but still going strong. He used to lead music in our Baptist church in Austin tx when I was a teen. The hymns were so very special to him and our family as a whole. He developed pneumonia and we decided to place him on home hospice. What a difficult time and yet a time to minister love and support to our dying father. Even with his dementia he still knew who we were...all 4 of his kids, and he loved singing the hymns. We all sang with him until he lost consciousness and still we sang to him. How beautiful are the old hymns of the faith. I love them and although I do like some modern music, my soul longs for the hymns to be sang just as they were back in the day. When a church announces a hymn and then they change the tune to ...be more modern....I cringe!

Natalie, everything was perfectly graced, blessed and beautiful as ever. Thank you so much for taking your precious time to give those of us who are home bound because of medical issues a chance to feel as though we are sitting inside our churches again. You are so gifted. I feel as if the day Jesus tapped me on the shoulder and carried me to the alter after my legs could walk no more. Praise the Lord 🙌💒

My mother is in ICU on a vent for Covid...the story you told before you played, "It will be worth it all" helped me so much. It was the encouragement I needed as I am praying without ceasing for her healing. 🙏 I needed that message and have no doubt God wanted me to hear it....Thank you!
