Once it dries up fully, you can easily slide it off. It should be dried hard

Firstly I must agree with Brenda comment. Can you help me though I’m a small baker that works around looking after her grandchildren to help her daughter work. I’ve been trying to make shoes to sell as cake toppers but they seem to brake on top where the heel and sole are any advise would be appreciated.

Loraine Heavingham have you tried using pastillage instead of fondant/gumpaste? It’s great to use pastillage for the heel and the sole.
