Cee Cee I understand that. I’m just saying for me it doesn’t matter. It’s an eyeshadow palette, use it as an eyeshadow palette and ignore the names. Sometimes I find people get caught in details and forget makeup is supposed to fun and to be used to express yourself. When I first saw the “names” I thought, “obviously that’s not my transition shade” ... lol and moved on. This “concern” doesn’t change the quality of the shadows. So to each own🤷🏾‍♀️ Other then names hope you enjoy the palette 😊

I think we've become entirely too offended and caught up in the things that really aren't that pressing, we can't just enjoy things such as this anymore. There are plenty of real world problems out there to keep us occupied. Make up and self care takes us out of that reality for alittle bit.. We've forgotten to just have fun, take things at face value and stop interpreting everything as a slight. This has caused great stress and unnecessary anxiety. She gave us a very warm bronze pallete that everyone couldn't wear so it doesn't suprise me that this was next. I dont believe she meant anything by this and we know Natasha is always trying new things. I agree ,its your pallete and there's no such thing as being confined to her way of applying makeup and the fact that you can arrange it honesty makes it even more not that serious. There have been several products I didnt get to try because too many complaints came in based on the packaging or color story and it was immediately discontinued. How do I know it won't work for me when I didnt even get the chance to try it?.Were gonna end up offending ourselves into total censorship living in a real life black and white Pleasantville situation.

YAY!! I'm glad you were waiting! My UPS driver and I have a similar relationship. I may have been in the back of his truck once last year. Maybe. I'm waiting on this one, I tell myself I'm not buying this because I'm not a cool neutrals person, but then out of town, every look was cool or pink neutrals. But this is one where I would probably want a companion palette with a little deepening and a little color unless I do single shadow looks (which I do ALL the time with her metallics) But I am not joking when I say I literally bought midnight sun (the last Pat pallette on my list) 23 hours before Natasha posted her reveal. And then, well, things with Chikuhodo brushes happened today. And I don't regret either of those or waiting on this. I don't care about the names, except I think its annoying for people who are less experienced with how she does shadows and annoying when trying to talk about favorite shades, and its also annoying because I love her normal palette structure. I think this range of cool tones are tricky with my skin tone, too. They can be aging and make me look tired, they really need some color to liven them or depth to ground them. I mean I have awesome cool toned neutrals (and purples) from indie brands and chanel/tom ford (which is part of why I don't have Lila (yet) and I rarely use them even though they are exceptional shadows. So while I think I'm likely to buy this, I might not immediately. I mean I don't have love or lila (yet), despite having most of her 15 pans, minis, and 5 pans. But, in its favor, it is so shimmer heavy that it has a lot of single/double shadow looks for me and I do pop pans out of my ND palettes and make mini palettes for travel and just to challenge my creativity with color combinations. Realistically, am I going to buy this with the 15% off Sephora coupon? Probably. But I might also wait and see what she offers for holiday and just mix up Star and mini-glam and the biba shades. But am I curious and kind of wanting to be convinced? YEP!

Nooo I thought this was at 7! I'm so sad I missed it. I still think her naming system was.... a mistake a best, and her save was also a bit of a fumble considering the rearranged formats aren't even noted in the palette's themselves. I hope she takes the feedback thoughtfully and considers sticking to regular names for the future. But I'm still very excited for this and the looks you created are beautiful! I looked to see when the new Denona palette was coming to Ireland, said 23 of Sept and I was a little bummed as I loved the mini glam those colours so my jam and I used the shish out of it. Then an ad for Selfridges UK popped up pressed on it, they had it, ordered without hesitation, also ordered the ABH Sultry as was watching declutter vids and nobody was getting rid of it, so thought it best to get that too even though similar, these be my colours and the new Charlotte Tilbury lip gloss. It was supposed to come Monday but came yesterday, honestly like a kid at Christmas. Rumour hasn't Selfridges put it on the website early by mistake but my order had already been dispatched, now when you look it is not there. Unless it just sold out that quick. Can't wait to play, big kid at 39!!!

It’s a very pretty palette but, to help me decide whether to buy, I just went through my palettes looking for cool toned ones and came up with more than a few. First, I have Pat. Her Mothership 1 and Platinum Bronze and 4 of the 10 shades in Decadence are cool toned. And I prefer Pat’s formula. Then, there’s Tom Ford. Double Indemnity is a stellar cool tone palette - perfection in 4 shades. And Nars: Skin Deep is more than half cool tones and the formula is amazing. I also have several cool toned singles from Nars. I’ll stop with Viseart but I have more from Mac and other brands. For Viseart I have Cool mattes, Chrome 6 pan, Paris Nudes, Paris Edit and Petite Pro 1 plus more. I had Sultry from Anastasia and gave it away unused. I really don’t need this Glam palette. It’s still lovely and probably worth it if you don’t have as many cool palettes as I have.

Unless her shadows apply much darker than they look in the pan, that "transition" shade would be a brow bone & inner highlight shade for me & I'm Fair. But the names don't bother me, I don't usually pay attention to shade names tbh ( I don't think about colors in that way since I was trained in color theory for painting & design so we use a different vocabulary) & I would just use the shades/textures where it made sense for me & my eye structure. After seeing your swatches, I think this palette would too grey for my coloring. But for everyone who has been waiting for this color palette from ND, this looks like a winner

Alicia mama, I hear you and I agree with you about the transition shade. Like you ima brown girl too,so I get you. However, thankfully the shades are removable. I would take a picture of the palette's original color arrangement, (for future reference ) then I would arrange the colors to fit my use and likening for easier use. Makeup has a theory I get it but... I'll be dame if someone is going to tell me I cant use a inner corner shade for a lid shade ok lol! I like it, I bought it, I'm wearing it, so I will put it were ever I see fit lol. I think ND did it this way for beginners 🤷🏽‍♀️ who knows. Either way this is how a neutral palette should be done it is gorgeous, JS should be taking notes. Im just saying.

The thing that's great about Natasha Denona is the shades are magnetic. You could pop them out and rearrange them. She has shown rearrangements of the palette in her stories for different skin tones. If you had shade names it wouldn't be as easy to do that.

I think the names are quite dumb tbh. I’m as pale (and green) as they come so I wouldn’t technically have an issue using the shades as named; however when I saw “centre eyelid/outer eyelid/inner eyelid” I couldn’t help but snort. I do not have the real estate to do that (or the time in the morning). All that aside I checked and re-checked the ingredients and it looks like there isn’t the dreaded cocoa butter of doom (allergic) like when I wanted Sultry and my dreams got dashed, the most similar to this I have is the CP Going Coconuts AND I was crying the other day bc I never got Naked 2 before they discontinued. So I am most likely getting this, probably for my birthday in October. Btw, I have a slight migraine which usually means noises murder me, *yet I still watch youtube* and your voice is so soothing it isn’t bothering me at all.

I am watching this after it was live and I just need to pause the playback to comment that I feel your pain with Lasership. I have had so many packages delivered to wrong addresses or not delivered at all until I call them to complain, all due to the incompetence of the drivers. UPS, FedEx, and USPS never have an issue delivering to me. Only Lasership. Given the option, I select USPS as the shipping option if I order from Sephora so I can guarantee it won’t be delivered by Lasership. And now Ulta has started using them. If anything, it helps curb my spending because I don’t want to deal with the hassle!
