Atomic Kitten star Natasha Hamilton got behind the wheel of a Stagecoach Bus in Liverpool as part of a recruitment campaign for the local operator. I don't know what it's like at other depots but where I work working mums are treated like second class citizens, men are handed fixed shifts because they've retired or they've paid their mortgage off and don't need the money. Women on the other hand have to fight tooth and nail to get a fixed shift in order help with childcare arrangements, my manager would have sacked me for having a baby but luckily I knew the law and knew exactly what a statutory application was so he wasn't able to force me to work full time, otherwise I'd have been shown the door.

Thats the drivegreen/greenroad (driver monitoring system) beeping as as driver without a "fob" is in the vehicle, it isnt able to log them on to record so its beeping. To note this is a bus thats used in service not an older Training Bus. You're right about the external shots though, its unlikely the reverse was her as it was too fluid.

Tried application for Stagecoach, got 30+ years driving HGV etc and got turned down has they said there were other applicants that were better skilled than me. It was for trainee bus driver for goodness sake they train you yet still got turned down

If you're a mum with young kids and drive for Stagecoach, unless you have a part time shift you'll be out all day on long shifts and have little time for your family. Getting a part time shift with this company is like getting your hands on the Holy Grail! They want drivers working long hours and other drivers are jealous of those with a part time shift.
