Yesss! I actually was listening to the off broadway version for the first time and the exact moment I heard Pierre and Andrey I just knew I had to animate it and this is the result! I myself mostly prefer the broadway soundtrack, but this version of this particular song is somehow more sadder and especially Andrey's pain and character are better shown, which I think is important since this is basically the only scene where he actually appears in the whole musical despite having such a big role in the plot. In the broadway version he is more angry, which of course works too, but I liked the sad and exhausted interpretation more. Thank you for all the kind comments, I will! ❤❤

Yes! Great Comet is my absolut favourite musical at the moment and I can't undestand why more people don't know about it! But at the same time I'm kinda glad the fandom is a little bit smaller so I can enjoy the magic of the musical in peace, I don't know :D

Aw thanks!! The On-Broadway is usually my go-to but I prefer this version of Pierre & Andrey paricularly since I like the more sad and exhausted characterization of Andrey better compared to the cold and angry of the bway

​@@matiiih6260 I agree 100%!!! The Off-Broadway version feels far more powerful than the Broadway version because of Andrey's exhaustion. The Broadway version feels like it makes Andrey too angry, while this version feels more complex and subtle. I also just like Off-Broadway Andrey's voice a bit more and Dave's voice just works better for this song than Josh's imo 😅
