Welcome to another Artist / Studio Vlog! In this one, we have massive amounts of snow, lots of new artwork, and I'll share my watercolour and gouache collection with you while talking about what's coming up on the channel.

I always really enjoy your Studio/Artist Vlogs and this one is a real feast for the eyes and ears! The tiny fox in the snow, the deer playing, the views from your window, the colour swatching, your watercolour collection and your beautiful artwork, are all so lovely, I couldn’t pick a favourite part. My only complaint is that I want to see more! 😁 Thank you for sharing this evocative snapshot of your life in the studio. I look forward to seeing the next one! ✨🙌😍🖼🎨👩🏻🎨❄️🦊🦌🌨✨🎥🎬🍿💖✨😘 xxx

Ahhhhh, I'm so pleased that you like it! 💖 I knew that you'd enjoy seeing your little animal friends in there. 🦊❄️🦌 So funny how the deer were frolicking in the snow - I feel like I have better footage of that but it's filmed vertically so I didn't use it! Fun to share different things in the studio as well - I'll have to make the next vlog longer. 👩🏻🎨😘 xxx

@@NatashaNewtonArt You know me so well 😁 I did enjoy seeing my animal friends. I was particularly impressed that you managed to get some film of the tiny fox. 🦊 Being so small, he seems to be much more allusive and cautious than the other foxes. Thank you for another gorgeous film! 🙌😘 xxx

@@notesinthemargin I couldn't believe that I managed to capture him! 🦊💕 I always feel so sorry for them out there in the freezing cold. I bet that you could get some great footage of the wildlife when you're working out there for your future videos! 😘 xxx

I'm new to the world of art (picked up a pencil Oct 2020) and I just LOVE IT. Your content brings me so much joy and excitement. I used to be knee deep in the makeup world and haven't picked up an eyeshadow palette since October. This is too much fun. Your canvas and pebble paintings are gorgeous. They seem so tactile ,I want to reach into the screen and stroke lol.

What a lovely chilled out video,your garden is amazing,but has a definite magical air covered in snow and added to that the three deer playing,the new paintings are stunning and the new collecton of painted stines and sea glass are stunning too like liitle treasures and icons of nature,so glad these have all found new homes and have no doubt their new owners will treasure them.On the wall of my studio,floor to ceiling are satch sheets for all the paints I currently own and I also over the weekend filled a small sketchbook with swatches too,it's actually really meditative thing to do and is a way to requaint with your colours and paints and you might think 'Oh I havn't used those colours or those paints in a while...".Look forward to all the new videos and new piecesof your amazing art work.I hope you enjoy working with the Gansi Paint sets,I find them really inspiring myself especially the seasonal themed ones,these are great paints to actually work with.I wonder if the deers and fox will appear in your art.....

Ah, thanks Matt! You're so right about swatching being a meditative thing to do (it's also quite addictive!). As I was doing it, I thought the exact same thing as you; that it's a great way of becoming reacquainted with paints I haven't used for a long time. I'm very excited about my future adventures in watercolour and can't wait to share what I've been buying over the past couple of months!

Another lovely Vlog Natasha! Your garden is giving me real Secret Garden vibes 😍 the deer were absolutely beautiful too - what a treat to see them!Xx
@NatashaNewtonArt4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Joanna! I told Dominic what you said about the garden, and we think that 'Secret Garden' is the way to go, so that we keep some 'wilder', less manicured areas, where as other parts are more structured. Love that! The amount of wildlife we have here is amazing; a Fox family, the Roe Deer family, Fallow Deer, Rabbits, Squirrels, Buzzards and Red Kites to name just a few. Very inspiring! xx

@@NatashaNewtonArt Aw that's such a lovely idea - if I had my own garden I would definitely want wilder areas for the wildlife to enjoy too 🥰 and WOW! What a lot of wildlife - I bet it's so lovely to have around you. I look forward to more vlogs ✨xx

I have now watched the start of this video 4 times 😄 I woke up sweating in 34 humid degrees, and watching those snowflakes will probably be the highlight of my day! 😄😍🥵 I love those canvasses ❤️ You have such a beautiful line and style! Do you use acrylic goache when painting on canvas? Or can you combine types of paint o them as well?
@NatashaNewtonArt2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I don't tend to use acrylic gouache on canvas, just acrylic because it's more hard-wearing. I don't know whether you could combine types of paint on them - I've never done it but it may be possible to do so! 34 degrees, urgh...it's hot here today as well but not quite that hot! I hope it cools down for you soon. xx
