I kinda hated this one i remember watching my dad play this one and i just didn't like the story unlike the first one

A lot of people weren't impressed but the toned down RPG mechanics, but on the other hand the improved combat made it far more accessible to a wider audience (hence why a lot of people consider it their favourite). Personally I prefer ME1 as well, but ME2 was still a decent sequel
