Guess it's obvious I don't come from money either (however I picked raspberries visiting at an aunt's place as a kid), but my point was that I still swim with my eyes open too but *do not get the joke* and it's killin' me to sit with it let alone admit it. 😆 Please pull me out of this misery? 😂 I've been swimming in virtually every kind of water situation. (All silliness aside, not counting flood waters. Heart aches for the hard hit southern USA and other regions recently being inundated across the globe). I grew up swimming with eyes open in salt water, then in chlorinated pools, fresh water swimming holes, ponds or lakes. What is the "eyes open" part about? Why is this going over my head? If not for community colleges, I'd have never gotten to a university, let alone would I have ever graduated from one. Curious, extremely, and interested, widely. But I'm not all that sure about "smart". A respectably high GPA doesn't always indicate a matching measure of intelligence. Diligent, and persistent, yes.

I like how he doesn't finish a lot of his sentences. He's just kind of saying words. I appreciate that about him. Feels like home. You know?
