I will watch anything if Marcelo is in it, including all future box office bombs. La esposa de mi padre es de Bogota, asi estudiando y practicando Espanol, and I understand a lot of this because the vocabulary is very basic. But too fast! ("Rapido! Rapido!" 😂) I replayed a lot of it. And as a newbie to Spanish gameshows, I agree with others here - you learn what's going on in a quick minute. I loved this!

This is a HUGE throwback to my childhood watching Sábado Gigante with my family every Saturday night! They spoofed just about every iconic element of the show: Don Francisco and his extravagant hats, el Chacal de la Trompeta playing his trumpet, the lion ready to eat the contestant if they fail to accurately sing the song… I was LAUGHING and reminiscing. I will watch every sketch that Marcello is in, especially when it’s en español 🤣 Let Marcelo wrote more sketches en español, por favor!

Just for context, you may think it’s a callback to that sketch you guys are talking about, but this is a parody of a Spanish-language variety show that aired on Univision for over 50 years. The skits they did in the original show were parodied as extravagant and weird as they were in real life and makes any Latin human being feel proud of our culture and reminisce on those memories from years ago!

This is a tame version of Sábado Gigante. Add some meth, bubbles, and more animals (for no reason) to get closer to the real thing. I used to watch this show as a kid. I do not speak Spanish, I just watched it because of all the gonzo costumes, animals, and flashing lights. Language is secondary to a show like this.

Shades of Chris Farley finding out he's a contestant on a Japanese game show.

I remember this show growing up... We would be stuck at my aunt's house on a Saturday night and couldn't go home until the adults finished watching this stupid show! LOL Big time Nostalgia watching this right now.
