He just takes his time articulating himself but when you start to pick up on the points he's making you'll see he's a lot more of a deep thinker than he gets credit for in a lot of ways. What a great interview with Nate and to hear Nate show respect to DJ. He obviously watches what DJ is up to because he talked about him fighting those massive guys recently and his interview with Mike Perry. I think this is why they had a relaxed and funny podcast. DJ is a great interviewer and knows what he’s talking about. Nate was totally at ease and having a good time. Two men who respect each other and do some crazy ass stuff with their fighting. Nate sure smiled a lot and was having fun. I’m an old lady who has loved Nate and Nick for yrs. I love my Mighty, that goes without saying.

DJ is a decent interviewer but he needs to chill out and give the guest room to speak, he literally will catapult into a tangent where he will immediately answer his own question for himself before turning it over to the guest, and then interrupt them and yap more into the next question where he'll do it again.

I still remember watching my first UFC fight. When a bunch of Irish guys I work with in Boston we’re talking about Conor McGregor and he’s having this big fight with Nate Diaz. I’ve watched that fight and became a massive fan of the UFC and McGregor/Diaz. I think that fight made the UFC so so much damn money and added tens of thousands of new fans. Nate saying Hermes Franqa being one of the superstars if lightweight for him, puts such a bad taste in my mouth. Hermes was my BJJ coach growing. I was around 10-12 and my sparring partner was a girl her age being 12-14 at most. Hermes ended up driving her to the gym sometimes when her parents could not make it. She ended up being raped by him and he spent time in jail. I stopped bjj after the gym closed and my dad didn't tell me why it closed until I was in highschool. He didn't only kill my fun in BJJ but also my relationship with my friend since she no longer liked any sort of Physical contact with males and also was probably trying to forget about the experience. Looked him up last month again since I wanted to see the full charges and there isn't alot to go off. He got second degree rape wich means that he used a position of authority, or that the victim could not consent do to being unconscious or physically unable. I hope she is doing alright in life and that she could mostly heal. Hermes is now back in Brazil doing BJJ things wich makes me sick.
