jamie personally almost every role Zendaya plays I kinda just feel like she’s playing Zenday and no one else. That’s probably just me as I’m sure many people will disagree. I don’t think she’s necessarily a bad actress but doesn’t have all that much range. Jacob and Hunter without a doubt gave me chills with their performances and were just so natural and perfect for the roles they were given. For me they carried the show and are always the two characters I look forward seeing more of as their storyline and the actors performances like I said earlier are the most fascinating.

I think he has his own insecurities and of course confused about his own securities and pressures in his life. i think its because she rejected him, and he also found out what she did with his father. i also believe that it was because he knew that jules was trans, to him this meant that she was a threat to his sexuality, since he did find her attractive (hence him posing as tyler and texting jules on the gay dating app). he explains this in an interview also

Jacob is an amazing actor. he is so awesome at playing nates character, he perfectly shows how much nate’s father’s lies and and hidden sexuality actually confuses and infuriates him. Him blackmailing jules beating up, the other guy as well as abusing maddie is all apart of his broken heart caused by his family. he’s an extremely broken character probably one of the worst ones along with rue in the show. the final scene where he bangs his head was a perfect visual of how he’s feeling within. Awesome job Jacob.
