My recipe for this was fairly simple: 1 Part Chromacryl White (Artist's Loft Soft Body would work too), 1 part DecoArt Satin Enamel, 2 parts US Floetrol... and then add water until it leaves an indent when drizzled off of the stir stick. The ingredients are important - but the MOST important thing is to get the consistency right! The thinner you go, the more pearls you will get.
I ALWAYS test it on a small canvas before I try it on something larger. If I don't get enough pearls - add more water!
The pour-over color was just paint and Floetrol, and enough water to match the pearl mix consistency.
I 'rescue' any paint that gets spun or tilted off by scraping it off of the table, straining it and saving it to use as a base coat for future pours. Very little waste!

Way cool. BUT, I can’t do a pearl without clear direction. Do you have “rough” measurements and ingredient list? I tried pearls for over 5 years and have broken the bank with ingredients without any true success. HELP a girl out please.

Hi again Agnes! I really should check these comments more frequently. I apologize again for the late response. Floetrol (and Owatrol) do not have strong binders, so the most you can use is 3 parts Floetrol to 1 part paint.
