Serena and Chuck is one of my favourite friendships on the show. Chuck was the one Serena trusted with Georgina and LOOK AT HOW SHE REACHES FOR HIS HAND. People see chuck as the villain, Nate as the player, Blair as the bitch, Serena as the troubled one but to each other, they dont see that at all. They will always be there for each other. No matter what. And you really see that those labels arent there in this episode Pfff Dan is irrelevant. He will never be apart of the group. These kids have known each other since they were 2!

out of the 3 helping serena, from the way he's talking, nate was the most judgmental, it kinda pissed me off since i expected him to be more there for her because of their past together. even as the seasons go, when serena is in trouble, he is usually the last to tag along and the least to care in many occasions, sometimes he doesn't even show up which was the weirdest thing and left me even scratching my head multiple times. i think the writers were a bit lazy when it came to his story line.

He wasn’t judgemental at all that’s Nate’s concern face. He really cares for Serena and was very concerned. Like you can tell by his oh my God reaction. Plus Nate showed up to everything. Nate was the one who came to Serena’s rescue when she was in a car accident. And he risked his whole career and his company’s success and went to go look for and get Serena back home. And when she was arrested Nate was there. Also when everyone including Dan blamed Serena for tipping off gossip girl and causing gg to expose all secrets Nate stuck by her side. He and chuck and blair told off Juliet and told her to leave. Even in the pilot when he comes to meet Serena at the palace he says “you looked upset last night. How are you?”. He noticed how she wasn’t okay. And he technically saved Serena from being addicted to being gossip girl. He took away the gossip girl laptop and even though Serena was mad about it he did it for her good. Gossip girl was ruining her. Also when Dan releases a negative chapter on Serena and Serena is hurt and sad by what Dan did. Nate literally punches Dan for hurting Serena like that. . The only time Nate wasn’t there for Serena was the time in season 4 when Serena was “drug overdosed”. And that was because the writers wanted Nate to give up which is totally out of character. It was a plot device to show dan is caring and good guy. But I believe Nate has always been there for Serena
