I get your point, and like I said, I have no problem with guys taking it to the ground. I was just stating that stand-up knockouts are almost always more exciting than submissions. That doesnt mean they are better ways to win or more important. It's just like watching a football game. A touchdown is a touchdown wether it happens on an 8 minute 15 play drive or one 80 yard pass play. But obviously the 80 yard pass play is the more exciting of the two.

anyone else notice that there seems to be alot more stand up in pride fighting? I think the guys use the cage alot to take the fight to the ground in UFC and other cage fights. I dont hate ground stuff but punch/knee/and kick tko's are so much more exciting.
