If I may make a suggestion.. when you're showing external footage during the interviews, you should enlarge the footage to be the main screen, and have the podcast footage down in the corner as the PIP, instead of just having the external footage pop up as PIP.. just an idea 🤙🏼

Koa nails it, and that is what makes both your vlogs stand out. You both take us along for the ride. Food, sore shoulders, surf watch statistics, bad trades, diet struggles, all of it---just like we were hanging out with you guys. There is no one doing what you guys are doing, how you are doing it. You guys are f-ing awesome. I do laugh I may run into you guys on the NS sometime, and start chatting you up, like I am a life long friend, and you guys are like....dude, who are you? 😂

Jack UNDERSTANDS audio!! You guys take note of how close to the mic he is. His audio is so good here! I know it's hard, but it really helps to be taking a bite out of those mics! Really enjoyed this and the behind the scenes stuff! Keep up the excellent work, all of you!

Also props to Koa on most of these podcasts; I picked up that between Nate, Koa, and a guest it was more Koa who tried his best to get everyone back to answering actual questions and moving the discussion along when he felt like it was needed. And most times he let the discussion flow organically when it felt like it should. He’s got a good feel for this already for you guys both being new to this format! And Nate just is just a giant ball of charisma and personality - John John even said he’s not as comfortable or big a presence on-camera as Nate is. Nate, you’re genuinely super funny!

My favorite surf podcasts so far! More than STAB’s, the WSL’s, Surf Splendor, SPIT (probably my second favorite), and the Grit. It’s from the real deal pro surfers who offer insight that us average joes have no clue about in the most funny delivery between two real friends. I love this podcast. When’s the next one???

Regarding the topic around the 51 mark- Cheesy to say but it’s just as much about the journey as the destination. The destination is watching you lads getting spat out of some insane throaty barrels (which is sick) but watching the journey - the travelling, the early mornings, the food, the boat rides, talking through the nerves and adrenaline etc makes it all the much sweeter. 🤙 Keep up the ripper work

9:07p PST FAAAK!! You guys have the best podcast ever! Let me just say, contrary to Pyzel’s wiping his ass with both of your faces(Dumb and Dumber/Beavis & Butthead), you two are thoughtful and interesting. Kudos on this episode and much respect to Jack! I can not tell you how critical it was to give a name and face to your filmer. Funny thing is how Hawaii gets a bad rap on education. I’m from California and we are cliquish and think we rule. But I’m gonna put it like this, “Your generation of youthful late twentysomethings in Hawaii blow away the zombie class of Californians your age. You two are giving surfers a reputation as smart hi-tech, financially literate, multi dimensional successful young men and women! I’m 53 years old and you two inspire me on so many levels it’s literally a breath of fresh air. Please have a woman on soon. You can introduce your significant others, but I think you should go with a pro surfer. Isn’t Coco your age? Or maybe a local underground ripper. Expand your following by double! Or Nate should ask his mom to come on. Who is more intriguing than John John, Nate, and Ivan’s mom? AnywY, keep it up, fellas. You are the best thing on tv. You two are going to blow up. Keep thinking of ideas. Take a trip to Kauai and get the underground hardcore to come on your show. I want to get to know Titus and Barca! And Koa, your dad is a legend but a mystery. I want to know what is up with that guy!!!!( and your brother.) Have on Eli!!!

Hey, been following your adventures for a while now, and I'm loving the vibes and that fearless attitude you both bring into the water. Totally get the whole localism scene and the unspoken rules-it's real. I pull the same moves back home. Locals first, always. But as a surfer who roams globally, I've noticed something. The soul of surfing seems to be slipping away with all this attitude. So, instead of throwing shade at every hoale that paddles by, I decided to switch it up. Spread some stoke, be cool with the tourists catching waves. Man, let me tell you, it's a game-changer. The vibe in the water is a whole new level, happy faces everywhere. We all started surfing for one reason - the sheer joy of it. Why turn it into something stressful and frustrating? Let's keep it cool and ride those waves together! 🏄‍♂✌ #SurfingVibes #SpreadTheStoke

I love what you guys are saying around the 48 minute mark about JOB. I don't surf, I've skateboarded for 38 yrs now, but it was JOB that got me into surfing content and now I watch more things on surfing than almost everything else. One day I will make a pilgrimage to the Northshore, not to surf, but to see all the things I have seen in the videos. You have a really beautiful homeland

So my dad bought his first stock in the early 1960's. He was a blue-collar construction electrician and realized that investing was the way for him to make more money and perhaps retire early or at least in a better place one day. I still remember him looking up his stock every day in the evening paper and telling us if it was up or down, he was very proud of his purchase. He continued expanding his portfolio and used Schwab to do his trades, eventually tracking all of it on his computer (when he was in his 80's). He did well, but did lose almost half his value during the 2008 stock market debacle - one of his "safe" stocks in which he was heavily invested was Lehman Brothers, the one bank the government let go under. That was a bad day, I think it was about half a million gone.
