Nothing better than "New Trail Day" !!! Huge thanks to everyone that made this happen for our community. Grand opening is Memorial day weekend, so come on out and get rad. Please consider donating time and/or money to COMBA \ BMA if you want to see more of this. Hard Money is the first of 4, bike-only, directional DH trails that will be constructed on Maryland Mountain in Black Hawk. Plenty of dig-days coming up if you want to join. Go here to get involved- www.comba.org/donate

So about 20 years ago I was the Planning Director for Black Hawk and was part of the team the negotiated the acquisition of Maryland Mountain from BLM - I used to ride the old jeep and rail grades and told the city council this would make an excellent mtb trail system. So nice to see this come fruition
