Thoughts on "bike-only" directional DH trails? I say we need more of this. Kudos to Floyd Hill Open Space.
@OGMTB4 жыл бұрын
There is a place similar to this in Spokane that we are fighting to keep for mtbing. Its called Beacon Hill.
@MagnumoftheMountains4 жыл бұрын
Absolutely needed. More directional DH trails with no risk of hikers and bikers having angry clashes or getting hurt.

YEAH!! Use specific trails...top shelf. And the tail crews...fantastic work 🤘
@Father_Tyme4 жыл бұрын
Yes definitely. Hopefully Idaho Springs approves Virginia Canyon Mountain Park which the would include a few more bike specific directional trails. Also should be corrected that Denver has nothing to do with Floyd Hill. Denver Mountain Parks/Denver Parks & Rec are pretty difficult to work with and have been against bike specific trail development on their mountain properties. This is all Clear Creek County Open Space in conjunction with partners like JeffCO Open Space, Team Evergreen, COMBA, Yeti, and others. Nothing to do with Denver City/County other than a place for those residents to drive ~30 miles west to and ride.

@@havenwisner6776 Look up Floyd Hill Open Space in Trailforks and you'll see The Sluice. The signage is good in the whole park. I recommend going up Floyd's Loop (West) because it's not as steep, plus it puts you on the backside which is pretty in the trees.
