Freddie’s first song released as a solo artist, though the other members of Queen appeared on the song - initially uncredited. In 2000, the liner notes of the Freddie Mercury Boxset The Solo Collection confirmed that Brian & Roger contributed guitar & drums. And, it wasn’t until the 2019 compilation Never Boring confirmed that John contributed additional guitar!

Adam Lambert + Queen did a great live rendition of this a few years ago, very tender & power at the same time 😊

Absolutely my favorite Freddie Mercury tune. It was a track featured in the Giorgio Moroder soundtracked version of Fritz Lang film Metropolis. And talk about 80s, Metropolis also featured tracks from Adam Ant, Bonnie Tyler, Pat Benatar, Billy Squier, and Jon Anderson. For many people, this version was their introduction to Metropolis.

The solo sound at the end it's Rolland Jupiter 8 or Juno.

I thoroughly recommend the 12" (extended) version of Love Kills unlike many extended versions of 7" tracks it's varied enough so it doesn't really become too monotonous. A big shout out to Gorgio Moroder who Freddie worked in partnership with to help produce this track

Maybe you are thinking of I Feel Love, Donna Summer? Giorgio M added his programming to that as well.

HEY Nate! Have you reacted yet to Queen’s NEW SONG that was released last October: “FACE IT ALONE” …The LYRIC VIDEO they did for it is absolutely fantastic! (They also made an official music video, but I actually PREFER the lyric video.) P.S. YES, this is with Freddie singing! The song was “resurrected” from their 1988-89 recording sessions.

There was actually a rock version of this that was so much better off his “The Great Pretender” CD 💿. Same vocals but the music is 100 times better.

Don't worry about it, in 50 years we will also find your video outdated.
