Small mansion, Large triple with kids play room and adult retreat

Today we are looking at the extravagant triple wide called the GSP642K, made by Golden West Homes. This home is located at Home Boys in Spokane Washington. This is a 2500 Sq Ft home that has 4 large bedrooms plus a large play area between 2 of the bedrooms. for the adults you get a retreat that is just as large as the master bedroom sleeping area. The living room in this home is extra large and the kitchen is designed to be able to keep you engaged with all that is going on in the home.

I agree - carpet doesn’t belong under food tables, or in bathrooms. Big people drop food too! Very nice tho. I like the different kitchen layout.

This is a beautiful home, but I’m not a fan of the kitchen in the center of the home since there are no windows so it appears cavernous. And for all that square footage it’d be nice if they added his and her master closets, although the master bedroom is exquisite. Another great home layout imo. Tear out the carpeting throughout, replace with hard surface flooring vinyl plank/wood etc. Master bath would need the other option with the tile shower. Great space for work from home and entertaining guests.

It's a beautiful home! As far as that master bath, lose the tub, put in some more storage and make that a big tile shower with a nice, big bench!

Overall nice but felt like a maze as you went through. Would opt for a larger and more grandiose master with larger closets and bath and pocket doors in some areas. Kitchen would be cramped if multiple people prepping. Would turn it into a 3 bdrm. Good presentation. Hello Nate and Raiden.

I would take some footage off of the sitting room in the master, and put it into the shower in the bathroom....also some beautiful tile of some kind would have been nice instead of just a standard surround. Also, the living area looks disjointed, even though it is unique in some ways. Lastly, I would have NO carpeting in the unit at all...it's too hard to keep up and with guests coming/going it would be a disaster. A good hard wood would make this unit much better.

Kitchen sink with window!? How about look up and see out To your living Room and the Windows there or the window over in the dining area. It's not like there is noopen space or Windows you can't see out if you look. If one always wants a window in the kitchen to look out that completely fine but that will limit your floor plan choices.

Nice home Nate, love the retreat area in the master and I agree about the tile shower. I would opt to put the shower where the bathtub is, if that’s possible. We don’t use a bathtub anyway.

I love this home a lot. since it's fresh in my mind and right next ti thefrint door I'm going to talk about the naster 1st just to be a little different. I think for us the master retreat would be used as an office so I would want to add a set of double doors maybe vetween it and the bedroom portion. I agree that I'd put my bed on the window wall. You're right either way works (depending on. bed) mine is a king and I think the room would foow better. I really like the living room and I kinda like u usually (buy not off center) shaped rooms I like the fireplaces in theses homes being in the corner. We have a gas fireplace in our living room and it's off center on the wall I would have put my couch on. So it kinda messes up the whole wall and even room layout! I do.NOT like the pantry in this hone. I am reminded of understair storage. (hello Harry Potter pantry!)I like the size of the center island BUT I wouldn't have it covered with anything. it would be used for a prep area (for example when I roll out or knead sonething) I think when I was raising my family this home would have worked well. I saw the play room a d had another idea. I have 4 girls so that would be the "girls wing" I would out doors kn the playroom. and put my twins in there. My oldest daughter would get the largest of the 2 bedrooms and my youngest the smaller ( I had my 5 kids Boy, girl, twin girls, girl so the twins are in the middle age wise of the other 2 girls) I love how close my girls (kids actually) are. As kids they were great playmates and as adults they are all 5 good friends and even though they don't all live together anymore (or even close to eachother they speak daily and see eachother as often as possible. I think sharing spaces helped with that ( plus if they weren't getting along they weren't allowed to play with their friends .) the "girls wing would have worked well. yes, they would have all 4 shared a bathroom but they all 5 had to share one growing up anyway. My son of course would have the "secluded hermit room". I love the laundy/utility room in this home. I don't have anything else coming to mind so I guess that'll be it! Blessings!

I would just ditch the carpet in the living room/dining room. An area rug would be nice for the living area. I would choose lighter colors for the cabinets. Love the bonus room/play room. Easily could make it a game room/entertainment room/play room for the youngins!😁 The retreat area in the master bedroom area could be turned into a home office/sitting room too. The kitchen island, uncluttered, would be great for extra prep/baking space. Very doable!

Eliminate all carpeting, adds larger pantry and rearrange the layout so the master suite isn’t isolated from the other bedrooms. I really hate how most of the manufacturers place the master at opposite ends from other bedrooms and often at the front of the house near the door.

since i eat food, i always look at the kitchen and what i have to go thru to bring in food and how much tracking will there be?, so i like direct lines from door to pantry/kitchen, this plan is not conducive to a semi handicap or muscular challenged person, too much to get to the beautiful kitchen. yet, they always do that

Carpet in a dining area is gonna get filthy! The kitchen central is like a cave with appliances...if they are going for the "heart of the home" notion, they missed the mark a tad...the pantry...yeah poorly thought out...long entrance to not a lot of storage space...at least run some shallow shelving along one side so it might serve its purpose better. Yeah...its a head scratcher but someone will buy it and be tickled pink Im sure.

I actually like this place. I don’t like the tub. I have that exact tub and it’s too large. It doesn’t even fill up half way. The drain sits too low inside the tub. And NO I would pay over 300k for a mobile home. Nope. It’s not that nice.
