They are great & the CGI is a fabulous to share a wealth of knowledge. There are some pacing issues introducing the concept of “ Drain the ….,” each time. Each episode needs to stand alone, so I guess this was the way to pull the CGI into a theme. I want it all….now😊! As always, another excellent production from Nat Geo.

Why are you more upset at the buyer of slaves than the sellers? And why is no one talking about modern day slavery that still exists?

I never knew about the Clotilde slave ship. Excellent research and storytelling. America's thirst for slaves went to any extreme.

At the 57 minute mark I just want to point out that a centerboard is not for stability. It provides lift so a boat can point closer to the wind.

So true. That's when prisons became popular. The slave owners had 1000's of votes. How ever many slaves you owed you got to vote that number. We are all slaves now but just don't know it. 😢

I don't watch regular TV anymore and therefore have developed an aversion to these overly dramatic TV shows with stupid music. I wish there was a way to block channels like History and National Geographic. They always wake me up when I have auto play set at night.

First video of the ship in the Florida river the only show the wreck with side scan that would be used to locate it the should have marked it switched to down scan and would have got a high def image they would be able to see a rope hanging off the deck
