The green anaconda can grow up to 20 feet long and weigh a whopping 200 pounds. That's a big body to feed. And the world's largest rodent, the capybara, is the perfect entree.

About World's Deadliest:
World’s Deadliest Predators is a new series that looks at most riveting moments of animal predation, breaking down the struggle for survival and supremacy into five action-packed episodes. Top Hunters focuses on the most feared animals in their class: animals at the top of their food chain; the hunters who are prey to no other animal. Killer Packs illustrates when predators multiply their advantage over prey by banding with others of their species to hunt. Lethal Weapons shows that the physical attributes and built-in concealed weapons have the ability to make an animal a top predator. Our Superpowers episode focuses on the animals that see, hear, and smell better than any others…and that relative to their size on are the fastest and strongest creatures on the planet. And whether it is over food, territory or sex, animals go to war within their species and against other species…Battles dissects these conflicts, from the strategy to the play-by-play. These five episodes bring together dozens of species, which are extraordinary, savage, and the World’s Deadliest Predators.

Yeah. Prey won't go down quietly, and a wound as serious as that looks like it might run the risk of being infected until it fully heals which would probably take weeks.

When snakes don't latch on to the face of their prey their prey will bite back. Although snakes don't notice the bite while they are constricting their prey. That's why so many snake handlers feed their snakes frozen meals.

I love the under water footage. I wonder how they do it. Is there someone who actually goes under water & follows the snake around?

What's funny is people think they can bite the snake to get out but you see those wounds on that snake and that capybara is still dead within minutes

I'm brazilian and... Cabybaras are so cute, have a lot in my city in the park. These animals cross the streets in the crosswalk in a Beatles style, it' funny. About the Anaconda... just a snake, very polite one.

They could've also mentioned that it would've taken as long as six hours before the snake has fully consumed its meal. Also that it needs to sallow its prey head first, otherwise it would choke on the victim's spine.

That is because typically, these kind of shows take footage shot at different locations and fit it together while providing some kind of narrative as if they shot it from beginning to end. A lot of times it is not even the same animal.
