This was so sweet with Allie and Nathan. I can't wait for part 2, episode 10 tomorrow to Allie's story regarding her birth father. She is going to be so hurt. I think in the end Allie will realize that Nathan has always been the man there for her; Nathan is her dad.

It is difficult for any child, no matter how old, to think the people who sired them don't see them as special. Even on a show, it will realistically take time for her to come to the conclusion that Dylan was the one lacking, not her. She is probably also insecure about the possibility of two new family members, replacing her, in Nathan's affections. She loves Elizabeth and Jack but is unsure how their presence will impact her.
