Does overplaying mean showing off or just playing more notes than necessary?

@@N7Sound both especially more notes that are unnecessary

To add, it’s when you play too many notes but don’t have any musical justification for those notes, nor the musicality to make those notes sound good.

Michael Cheney Though I used to enjoy Jameson, flawed man = alcoholic, and the Ampeg B15 plexi flip top bass amp, it was woofy. Today’s modern bass amps have a treble horn which gives much more definition. Also many features like line out, head phone jack, built in tuner. Though Nathan East has some humility, which Our Lord loves, Nathan is wonderful. It is nice to pay tribute to Trail Blazers who went before us, but the instrument has progressed a lot since Motown. Nathan is one of the best, let us enjoy his music and happy vibe.
