I used to think that, but if you look at the comic books and some of the other later material (from the same writers and possibly even recycled from future scripts), it's just not as good. I think the 14 episodes we got plus the movie are just perfect. Sometimes less is more.

@@clutchfrog262 That sounds like the kind of thing that someone who's never used Netflix would say. Sure, there are some Uber-Woke-Crap shows but that's FAR from the majority. And those shows that are infected with this cancer are new shows that have the cancer built into it. By which, I mean - They don't take an established show and change it to force feed us a 27-gendered trans person who identifies as a Bloknorb. However if a show is written that way from the start... Or rather, I'm not aware of any shows that they've re-written in this way and am only aware of shows that were like this from the start. So in other words, Firefly, which already had established characters with their own traits, would not have been re-written. The story we all love would have been given new life, rather than being sacrificed on the Altar of Woke-Crap.

I read an article recently where it was said that the reason the actors won't come back, besides having other commitments, is because they think they are too old. But this is it. This is all we want. For them to sit around on the set of the Serenity and banter. Also for Jane not to be there XD. They could be 90 and crochety and I would still enjoy watching them together.

This is Dragon*Con, which is not only a Firefly convention, it's a over all geek convention. It covers just about everything we geeks love. It actually started life as an Anne McCaffrey convention, hence the Dragon portion of the name.

@@LowKeyLifeHKD We are both wrong, although you are much closer to correct than I am. It was named after the local SciFi/gamers club, which was in turn named after Kramer's Dragon Computer (1987). I started going pre-internet (yep, I'm that old), and that's when I learned it was after McCaffery. No easy way to look up the correct information then. LOL I started going when there were only about 8k people... and stopped when it was around 55k, it had just changed so much from the convention where you ended up in elevators with your favorite stars are might hear someone playing bagpipes every time you opened the men's bathroom door.
