He's done an incredible job at creating a mysticism around himself to the point where I desperately want to find some candid moments of Nathan just being Nathan.

Ceren K just look at this interview here as reference. The interviewer shat on his own thing because of Nathan’s success and Nathan defended that completely unprompted, saying that’s not fair the interviewer or to the crew, that the work they’re doing is plenty valuable. I think little off the cuff moments like that are good examples of how someone is in real life. In this case it seems to be for the good.

These courtyards are sort of strewn across the metropolitan Los Angeles area. And there quite an interesting history as to why that is the case. In 1965, a German architect of the Bauhaus school of design landed a position in a venerable Los Angeles development and construction consulting business Steward and Sons headquartered in Downtown Los Angeles at the time. His name was Gebhard Leberecht von Blücher and his contribution to the urban landscape was to advise architects and construction companies to add a courtyard to their projects reminiscent to the kind he would spend his afternoons in Stuttgart. The courtyards would always be in the center of the site as an ode to the values of the Bauhaus design ethos of the centrality of equanimity.

Apparently you can see it on the DVD special Features. Bobby Moynihan talked about it as well on a Podcast. It's interesting because he had the same feeling, thinking it was his fault and not Nathan's that the scene was cut. So they're both blaming it on themselves. He talks about it 28min in: podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/04-any-questions/id1494539046?i=1000465470219
