Stories told on talk shows are partly scripted anyway. The host and the guest both know what they’re going to talk about. They won’t have a whole script or anything, but they’ll have keypoints that are discussed beforehand. So, even if this whole story weren’t meticulously planned by Nathan, it still wouldn’t be unusual for him to be prepared for a story that was made out to be a “tangent.”

Definitely only Conan is as weird as Nathan so would've been a great match, all the other hosts are terrible comedians with low level humor@@RandalideSantos

It's great when you get to see Nathan out of character like this, he's very relaxed and very witty - especially that fashion police line he told the cop.

This is brilliant. I love Kimmel's reaction to Fielder, especially at the end--genuine belly laugh, and mad props to mad comic genius.

The fact that he has told the exact same story on Seth Meyers already makes the hole thing much more hilarious.

"You work hard all your life, especially trying to get Microsoft working. I mean, Microsoft. What would we have done without it? In the office days...older office days, in the 80s, you had big computers in a room. I mean, enormous, and look at the technology now. It takes a inventive mind to run and invent.... this Microsoft." -Bill Gates

It probably took a lot of effort not to scold him, lmao! :) There's a reason why we put important items, essentials, and 2 days worth of clothes in the hand luggage! And it only takes a couple of seconds to double check the tag before leaving the airport! Returning suitcases is such a pain in the ass.
