I'm loving this tune. Feels like this a mix of classic Architects and modern Bring Me. A fun mosh track with huge catchy melodies
@FormaAlert4 ай бұрын
It's hilarious because BMTH and Architects are the two bands in the scene that every other band eventually ends up kind of following stylistically, so seeing them converge like this after the lead-up from the last couple albums from both bands is kinda amazing.
@FormaAlert4 ай бұрын
On that note, a split EP/album or something between them would be unbelievable and I absolutely need an absolutely massive tour with the both of them

insane chorus melody, fav architects track in a minute

Love the new track. It took me a sec to pin it down but the chorus is basically identical to "Deadmau5 - Monophobia". Dig the style they have with this one.
@AP-ov6se4 ай бұрын
thats it! was trying to figure out what it sounded like.

Also quite similar to northlane 'plenty'. I think it's just an unusual interval and stands out against the standard melody picks.

Sam keeping the pissed off theme makes me smile.....a lot.
@DREADDWELLER4 ай бұрын
It's hilarious that they wrote Seeing Red because they were pissed off that people thought they weren't pissed enough. So they dropped this song as a huge "fuck you" and ironically people loved it.
@sean_mc4 ай бұрын
@@DREADDWELLER What's ironic about that? The lyric "Are you happy now?" literally addresses the paradox. There's nothing ironic other than the "fans" getting mad and acting shitty at the band calling them out for their other shitty behaviour.
@pugdomination4 ай бұрын
@@sean_mcidk but personally I found the breakdown to be an over-the-top parody of a breakdown. The “are you happy now” that followed was sarcasm.

What boggles me the most with this new track is just how young Sam sounds, like. I was on shuffle mode after heading home from work and this popped up, then i was like "What the fuck?" Oh, OH. IT'S 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗠. I absolutely love how fresh and bright his voice is on this one.

Not a fan of the vocal production, but it's a great track - you can hear the curve to the cleans being flattened by melodyne. They have been heavily tuning live vocals lately too.

I really like the chorus but feel like instead of making a very accessible 3 minute track, they could've made this a truly amazing >4 minute song. It's like like every few seconds the song isn't in (pre)chorus it is almost rushing through filler material to get back to it. It feels like a radio cut of a greater, more interesting full length version imo.
