The woman at the end and the guy who made the Hack pun at the end of assault and batteries, are Chelsea and James from the youtube channel, Dead Meat. They mainly do kill counts for movies but they also do podcasts and other stuff. They're real nice people and yes that is Bill Mosley as well.

I love this song. I don't think it got the attention it deserved. The contrast of Spencer's clean vocals & the heaviness of the music is perfect. Also, Spencer knows how to make guns & knives super sexy. Sighhh.

I've seen comments elsewhere that people are disappointed with this one because it's so melodic, but they've always had songs like that. It's probably most comparable to Grave Mistake or Savages from the last album in that respect. The industrial vibe reminded me of bits of the first Resident Evil film soundtrack. Johnny, I think the framing device around the clips proper fits because clips for this one plus Assault and Batteries are the home-made video tapes of the vocalist's American Psycho character from the first single. The police are watching through them as or searching for evidence.

I'm so glad Johnny picked up on the BMTH Ludens vibe cause the beginning sounds near identical to Obey and then there was some Parasite Eve touches in there too. As a whole, the song sounds like it was written after listening to BMTH's most recent album. Saying that, I'm a simple person and play both bands on repeat so this song will be no different.

Oddly enough, INK made me appreciate the horror series I typically find to be a bit too silly to like. I'm way more a dense atmosphere kind of guy over straight-up gory deaths. What I like that INK is doing though is being faithful to the silliness of stuff like Child's Play in a way that's really fitting. Even this gels well with the original Resident Evil movies, plus had a nice tribute to Resident Evil 4 in the form of the Chainsaw Man. That being said, I would love to see them release even just a short EP that tipped the hat to atmospheric horror games instead - Resident Evil 2 Remake, Silent Hill (any of them really), Fatal Frame, Bioshock or System Shock, etc. - that would let them explore a totally different side/pacing to their music and yet still be within horror. Could be cool.

Not only RE4, but of the entire Resident Evil franchise! The part that shows the bald zombie that is in a more advanced state of decomposition is identical to the first scene of a zombie in Resident Evil 1.

Hell, there are a ton that would be perfect. Parasite Eve, Clock Tower, Legacy of Kain (Personally I'd love this, but I'm not sure it's horror-y enough, maybe the Soul Reaver games.), Alone in the Dark, D, Galerians, Dino Crisis, House of the Dead, Mizzurna Falls, Fear Effect, Rule of Rose, Sweet Home, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, Wolfenstein, Zero Escape.

Since one of their previous albums (every trick in the book) was strictly horror books, and the silver scream 1 & 2 are horror movies, it'd be neat if they made an album purely off of games like you mentioned. Maybe make the album name a nod to the violent videogame panic and the myth that games inspire/create killers. If they wanted a cinematic chain like in this one where Spencer is being investigated for killing his fiance', do different game styles with a similar shtick.

The production and film clips are absurd. They are so good in everything is related to a single! I enjoyed less than previous ones because I miss the heaviness but the song is amazing. They are freaking talented. The "run" thing was sick!

One thing that I haven't seen anyone mention yet, is that when the girl is shooting the Zombies, the camera angle is always over the shoulder like a 3rd person video game. Even though Resident Evil was 1st person, it was still a cool way to pay homage to the games, without making it painfully obvious.

Actually the first games were third person on the shoulder. They only became first person around RE5

Resident Evil 4 is when the games went over the shoulder 3rd person. The original games were fixed camera angles. 1st person views in Resident Evil started with Resident Evil: Survivor which was supposed to be a light gun game and then returned with Resident Evil VII: Biohazard which was designed for the Playstation VR
