My grandmother's name was Mavis and she was my best friend. She was 92 when she left us. And the best person I have ever met. Nate released this song a few months after we laid her to rest. It made me survive through the roughest time in my life. And to hear the band put so much soul into this rendition at red rocks just makes me feel so great Thank y'all for making me survive.

This band is so dam tight, they are 1 instrument. This song demands that the band goes on their own journey and they did and they didn't struggle 1 bit at the top of the song where it so important that they become 1 so early in the song. This song is going to be around forever. This is 1 of "those" songs. Nathaniel and this band bring me and my soul to places that only Bob Marley or Dennis brown have taken me. I'm moved.

I just got divorced yesterday after 10 years. I had the worst time with acceptance. But this song/band has helped me through. I tried and tried to make it work but she didn’t want it. She wanted something else which hurt so damn much. It still does and always will, because I really love that woman. I was so damn angry that we were getting divorced until the hearing, and now all I can do is listen to this song and smile that it happened. I sent this song to her the night before and hope someday she’ll understand the lyrics.. No matter what, I’ll always love my beautiful Shaleen. :)

My girlfriend and I were walking through Red Rocks park the afternoon of September 20. We could hear them sound checking this song and others. As we were enjoying the beautiful sights, sounds, and weather, I overheard another park patron say, "This is like Heaven!"

if you're playing in a band and you have two or three or four members who are so moved they have to dance--it makes all the difference in the world--it sucks the crowd in. stand there like bill wyman and it ain't so moving. it has to be genuine. just like these guys. along with the band 'the war on drugs' these guys are IT in this country. most original.
