2 years ago, Yemaya spoke to me in a dream: she showed me the ocean, the energy in it, and told me: "go sing to me and dance for me" - her voice was beautiful, the all too familiar warmth of a matriarch was not hard to recognize right away, I did not see her face. However, her presence was strong. I danced and sang for her at the beach. My song and dance was accompanied by two African drum guys that happened to be at the Beach that day, it was a beautiful moment. I was cleansed. My energy renewed. It was a rebirth. I needed it.
