Thank you Nathan for all the help, today i rolled out my 04 X3 M54 3.0L with no codes i may add, and turned a acceptable profit. the new owner loves it as new. Seeking out the next challenge. you sir are #1, still loving my 09 X3 N52 3 stage

Two things - don't shaek the plastic valve cover (take it off) as the plastic cover will move but this is because on most cars it sits on grommets so it doesn't vibrate and make noise.

My e90 2009 vibrates after ignition in the cold mornings. Under 1000rpm idle. When i press the gas while parked, the vibration stops.

My 2017 Nissan Altima does the same thing at the moment. Goes away when I drive. Then slightly comes back at stop and go drives.

I haven't found a video that fits the vibration at idle in my car. My car vibrates at idle but after a good drive of let's say 20 minutes the vibration is gone, smooth as butter. Is always after those 30 minutes.

I threw away the pvc valve and run it free to the outside and of course blocked the hole on the air intake. My car now runs like new Here in México, no problem with emission bs.

here is a question , What would cause engine vibration , while stopped ..I can even feel it through the steering wheel at certain RPM especially when the air conditioning cycles on and off and puts more strain on the engine... I've already replaced the hydraulic engine mount which was broken and I did the torque mount and I did the transmission mount about a year ago... The thing is I replaced the torque mount before I did the other hydraulic mountain realized it was broken should I re-loosen and then adjust the lower engine torque mount , my car only has three engine mounts... The main reason I think it might be the torque mount is not adjusted or twisted maybe it's because with the new hydraulic mount the engine sits quite higher by a few inches I would think they would affect the adjustment on the torque mount.. When I'm going down the road you don't even feel the motor in someways, But on occasion while accelerating fast I could feel a little more vibration then it normally would be at about 2500 RPM Otherwise everything seems great... any ideas ..? I know the torque mount shouldn't have any weight on it ,, maybe that's what's causing it ...but still I can feel it in the steering wheel just sitting still sometimes vibrates especially with the air conditioning on which I use every day because it's hot here

I've got the same issue.. While idling on P/N it is butter smooth with 900revs.(same when driving). Stopped on a light on D/R... The revs go down to 700 and vibration kicks in... Xtrail 2005 here

E46, 2002, 63k. Finger massage through the steering wheel. Engine mounts replaced, but not the two transmission mounts.Would not replacing the tranny mounts cause the steering wheel vibration, at idle, to persist? Probably should have replaced all four mounts at the same time, I guess.

Unlikely , But check that fan clutch and or water pump, seen that before

Had a rattle in one of my BMWs last week. Sounded like there was something loose behind the steering wheel. Turned out it was the visor mounted garage door opener rattling on rough roads. Glad I didn’t take the steering wheel apart to locate the rattle!

09 Impala I never had this issue but my car only starts acting like it has a misfire oy at operation temperature wene it is cold 0 vibration the only thing i have left too replace is the coil pack i have done everything possible that could cause a a misfire with this car . If i replace the coil pack and it still has a vibration then it has too be electrical issue or wiring too the clil pack itself snd i give up if its that lol

My 2008 Honda fit has been shaking when I’m stopped in drive. It also does it when in park. Maybe it’s the breaks or the whole shift thing needs to be replaced
