Damn, and I complain when I buy 4 spark plugs for my car, now imagine getting 16 of them!!!
@889977995 жыл бұрын
El Profe mine has 6 iridium plugs that last 100,000 miles. I changed them at 100,000 and have 140,000 miles on my 2006 Kia Sportage now. So double the price wouldn’t be fun.

I have NEVER seen an air filter housing on a road car with so much dirt in it! That was insane!

I've seen worse. Some people don't "fix" things until they are completely broken.

it’s a lot cheaper to just sell a broken money pit and buy a used toyota or lexus rather than paying for repairs

Have a vw, love the torx life. Amazing little bolts. Just get the bits for an impact driver or drill and use the clutch on a low setting. You wouldn't believe how many of these little guys I do when I change the diesel filter.

What i do when i see engine cover on my car: Remove it forever. What is meaning of having an engine if you cannot see injectors and plugs everytime when you open the hood
@motorcitymanman77115 жыл бұрын
The cover helps keep the engine clean. I do wonder why they don't cause a motor to run hotter though.......

I put in a new air filter for my engine oh boy it loved that now idles and accelerates really well. Sometimes it’s something simple like that.

Your doing a great job Scotty! don't never slow down

Did all that, plus ignition wires, oil change, fuel, air and oil filters, throttle body cleaned, idling feels like driving on a bumpy road. :)

Do you have a check engine light on ? If so , check the code . Are you using cheaper gas ? Maybe try better gas . Did you check coil packs , MAF sensor ? What kind of car and mileage ? Does it smoke when idling? If high miles , could be valve sticking or other worn out internal parts .
@techalyzer5 жыл бұрын
@@jayhockley8841 Check engine was on until I figured it was a loose EGR hose, clamped that down and check engine went off right away. It is good gas, coils not replaced yet, no MAF on this car, no other problems. The weird thing is that it comes and goes, usually when it's cold, after a long trip you don't even feel it idling, but when it starts up it's like an earthquake. :) I do have some other ideas, but no money for them yet...

Note how honest Scotty is! I took my F150 into a place for front end issues, AND missing. They said they road tested it, and couldn't tell it was running rough. LIARS! I turned the key to leave, and it was running rough! Check engine light came on later, took it to another place, told them about the first place. That place said they couldnt work on it without a code. LIARS! Months later, it happened again, and the third place said, YES, they can pull the code without the check engine light!😠
