They also hand all the evidence they have over to the police in order to get a conviction. These vigilantes didn't issue any form of caution. Anything he says on camera would be inadmissible as he would state that he felt intimidated to do so. They took the phone off him and he can deny that the phone belonged to him. If he was prosecuted this video would be used by his defence as they would state that it could have been seen by any juror and they would therefore be influenced by anything he said while intimidated under caution. They should have collected their evidence, gave it to the police and let them arrest him.

I’ve only just seen these. What I can’t believe is how many there are!! I must have been naive because there’s like 1000s of these clips. These 'guardians' could seriously prejudice a police case. They took his phone from him, technically stealing it. He could claim that they put messages on it and the burden of proof would be on the police to prove he did it. if these 'guardians; have proof of what he's done they should give it o the police and let them deal with it. What would have happened if he had been armed???
