The History Of Jasper T Jowls (Chuck E Cheese)

This is episode 4 of my popular “History Of” series season 3!
For episode 4, i’m going back to the basics by doing another Chuck E. Cheese character evolution video. Since the one I did on Chuck, back in 2021, did extremely well. It was only a matter of time before I did another one! This time it’s on Chuck’s best friend and everyone’s favorite country hound, Jasper T Jowls!!!
I just want to take this time to think everyone who is patient with me while I was uploading the video. I know there were a lot of delays and a few planned episodes were pushed back to next year but I’m happy I was able to get it out now and I like how the final product turned out!

I really like the concept of Jasper wearing glasses and him potentially being a visually impaired character. That's a really good concept for a character considering that many people who are blind and visually impaired people are assisted by guide dogs (I am legally blind but don't have one) I wish they would have stuck with that idea.

Yeah I wish they would too I wonder how some people and collectors are getting their hands like I've seen a couple Jasper's out there I would love to have a Jasper myself if somebody were to set a suitcase down beside me with lots of money from the lottery and then have a Jasper on the other side of the table I take the Jasper and not say that I could sit there and say hey I got one it would be so I can enjoy watching performances if I had the show control or if not I'd have to get that program blue or make some kind of a system myself being that I have worked on animatronics before for the Country critters jamboree back in 1989 that ghost town in the sky but it would just be so awesome to have a piece of History like that especially since I grew up with it and something I am really appreciative and fond of

By far, Jasper's the best CEC character throughout every iteration of the show and the restaurants. He had the most personality and best VAs (Bob West and Scott Paulin specifically). I have to disagree though, I find his latex masks MUCH nicer than the later iteration in plastic. And yes, I did say masks, I think you forgot to mention that in 1993 or 1994, all the three stage bots received updated mask designs, most of which were very different from the 1989 originals, with Jasper's being quite the improvement.

Billy Banjo Boggs almost seems similar to Banjo Billy’s which had retrofitted CEC animatronics (Banjo Billy being a retro fitted jasper) and their main mascot being a dog. It opened in Houston, TX in 1994 and closed in 1997 alongside the other stores in the strip mall it was apart of

Oh I love Jasper T Jowls, he’s one of my Top favorite dog characters and Jeremy Blaido is the absolute best voice for him (who’s still doing the character to this day)! Jasper’s best song that I love is That’s a Deal, its so catchy and upbeat! His Avenger version of him will always be my favorite and his later Rockstar version (in 2017) is actually very good! I never thought you would do a history on our favorite hound dog from CEC, he’s one of Chuck. E’s friends that will never be forgotten! Great job and see you soon on the next CEC character history, I hope it’ll be Mr. Munch (who has an interesting history; considering he wasn’t a original PTT character when it first opened)!
