A bit of stance work is needed too but that's just a thing with switching arts in general! When I came from boxing my stance was... I don't even want to talk about it. He just needs more body conditioning to be confident enough to put his hands slightly higher and be more rigid in some places (shoulders were too relaxed; don't tense them up but a completely loosened muscle is not a good idea). Insane for a "beginner" though, took me months to get from boxing to where he's at!

Great stuff mate. keep learning from your journey. I always have respect for people who step into the ring - be it sparing or a real fight. I've practiced boxing, kick boxing and now i'm having fun with Muay Thai and BJJ. I absolutely love Muay Thai. And while a real fight might be off the table (refused to do it when I was younger) I'm going to have fun with Muay Thai and just trying to stay in shape - and from time to time some hard sparing - because that is awesome. Keep doing you.

good video respect, but It’s interesting how something as simple as tweaking your daily routine can lead to major improvements in productivity. I’ve been exploring different strategies recently, and one approach I came across in The Ultimate Guide to Productivity and Personal Growth by Borlest really resonated with me. The idea of breaking tasks down into smaller steps and being mindful of how I spend my time has made a noticeable difference in how I approach my day. It’s not something I’d thought much about before, but applying just a few tips has already helped me stay more focused.

Thanks for learning Muaythai .This martial art is ther best for stand fighting .🙏 In ancient times, we used Muay Thai in real warfare to conquer the tribes surrounding Thailand. In the past, Thailand was very large country until the colonial era. We could not use MuayThai to fight against bullets😂. But we lost territory 14time . For keep freedom until today.

Actually, I used to lightly train in Muay Thai before trying karate, and I really enjoyed it. I just now got a chance to pick it up again through a university club and casually train it one time a week as a side hustle to my karate. So, the Muay Thai class/practice is like right before one of my karate classes, and I found it actually really helped me loosen up and be smoother in my free sparring movements for karate! It's amazing how all the different martial arts styles can help each other.

Nat, all i can say is you’d be a kickboxing/muay thai beast. There are kickboxing champions who have a karate background and they have excelled in kickboxing fights. Try to work more on kicking like a thai. They are so good with the hip rotation and the way they slam their shins into the bag. Its as if their leg is a whip. Also try make the hand swing more better alongside keeping the back hand up.
